Thanks and a million thanks, even though I can’t get it to work, I appreciate your efforts. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong but I keep getting Fatal error: Class ‘nusoap_client’ not found in /home/content/16/7287916/html/atticstairsshop/wp-content/plugins/exec-php/includes/runtime.php(42) : eval()’d code on line 28. So I thought I didn’t drop the unzipped nusoap file in the right place so (I’m using filezilla) so now, that file is pretty much EVERYWHERE on my server.
I apologize if you already answered this question and I’m not a developer but I thought I really followed your directions (which by the way were fantastic) now, if I could just get this to work! THEN… of course, if you could gimme one for linkshare too! YOU ROCK!

thanks, I love your posts and site. You are the first presenting these php feed integration for cj within wordpress. The version of wordpress is 3.01 and yes rest protocol version will also be greet.

Just tested the code again on the new version of WordPress and it doesn’t work for me either. I will get back in the next day or two with a solution. In the meantime, it worked on WordPress versions 2.8.x and 2.9.x.

It may be that you have to make a call through the REST protocol to make the connection. I will make a post on that as well this afternoon.

The php code implementation does not work. Something is wrong with the above code, I tried with numberous wordpress themes and on my own server direct. Can you please let me know if the php code is somewhat off on the above code?

I’m sure we all know of Googles drive to include website loading speed in the ranking process, so I thought you might find this technique to speed up your site by 3 to 4 times using 2 lines of code useful.

I think it’ll work with any site, but it’s especially useful if you’re using a heavy CMS like WordPress (I think this site is WordPress?).

Simply, if your server has zlib compression enabled you can add 2 lines of code above the document type in the header, and when a visitors browser calls the pages, your server will automatically compress the page and send the compressed file to their browser.

I don’t want to hog the space here, so if you search for it in Google you should find various sites with instructions.

I’ve been testing it with some of my sites (it takes a couple of minutes to add the code), and it does indeed make a huge difference.

So far, it will only allow you to make calls from the product catalog. I will make those changes for a future update and have it ready for release this week (most likely by tomorrow.)

As of now, it will allow you to enter keywords, advertiser id, and the amount of listings per post.

This is pretty cool stuff. I recently developed out some CJ API integration with REST on a couple of my sites. Where you insert the code is up to the individual need, but I wrote about it over on my site at enkognedo.com. Same idea, though, and yes, you will need the ability to execute php. I used exec-php mentioned in this article for WP and the “sourcerer” plugin for my Joomla! install. There is an example of one of the API’s in use on my enkognedo.com site entitled “php programming”… check it out.
